Smarty Programmer Power Levels

Below are all of the different power settings for each of the Smarty programmers.

Smarty Touch Power Levels

The Smarty Touch tuner will have varying results depending on the year of your truck and how many aftermarket modifications your truck has. All of the horsepower gains are based on a truck that is 100% stock (seriously, 100% stock). Also, due to many variables these horsepower gains are not guaranteed but will give you a rough estimate of what to expect.

1998.5 - 2002 Models

  • Software Setting #1: Fuel Saver
  • Software Setting #2: Only More Fuel and Boost Fooling
  • Software Setting #3: Same as #2 + Added Timing
  • Software Setting #4: "Soft" CaTCHER with No Added Timing
  • Software Setting #5: Same as #4 + Added Timing
    • Highest setting recommended by the manufacturer on a stock automatic transmission
  • Software Setting #6: Mild CaTCHER with No Added Timing
  • Software Setting #7: Same as #6 + Added Timing
    • Highest setting recommended by the manufacturer on a stock clutch
  • Software Setting #8: CaTCHER with No Added Timing
  • Software Setting #9: CaTCHER + Added Timing

2003 - 2007 (Standard REVO Software)

  • Software Setting #1: 30hp Increase WITH Timing
  • Software Setting #2: 60hp Increase WITHOUT Timing
  • Software Setting #3: 60hp Increase WITH Timing
    • Highest setting recommended by the manufacturer on a stock automatic transmission
  • Software Setting #4: 90hp Increase WITHOUT Timing
  • Software Setting #5: 90hp Increase WITH Timing

Smarty S-03 Power Levels/Gains

Below are the power levels and HP gains capable from the Smarty S-03 tuner. The power gain at the top RPM is very similar in all software levels, the main difference is in HOW your truck gets to these levels. The higher the software level the more aggressive the throttle response will be. Be very careful operating on a high power level during dangerous driving conditions.

  • Software Setting #0: Half Power
    • Use this whenever reduced power is wanted. This setting will provide around 50% of the stock power your truck has. This setting will also produce no smoke output.
  • Software Setting #1: Fuel Saver
    • Customers commonly get around 2+ MPG
    • Heavy towing is not advised on this setting
    • Timing is aggressive
  • Software Setting #2: Only More Fuel and Boost Fooling
    • Increase in fuel delivery by the ECM
  • Software Setting #3: Same as #2 + Added Timing
  • Software Setting #4: "Soft" CaTCHER with No Added Timing
  • Software Setting #5: Same as #4 + Added Timing
    • Highest setting recommended by the manufacturer on a stock automatic transmission
  • Software Setting #6: Mild CaTCHER with No Added Timing
  • Software Setting #7: Same as #6 + Added Timing
    • Highest setting recommended by the manufacturer on a stock clutch
  • Software Setting #8: CaTCHER with No Added Timing
  • Software Setting #9: CaTCHER + Added Timing
